The Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame & Museum extends sincere appreciation to the Bell for Better Team Giving Program for a recent contribution of $3,000 received in recognition of the volunteer work and leadership for MCHoF&M by Bell/MTS retiree John Helston.

The Bell Giving program tracks the volunteerism of retired employees and recognizes their service to the community through support of designated projects. It is an important support for small charitable organizations such as the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame & Museum. Often the support goes to small community museums in the retiree’s hometown or to special interest projects like the Manitoba Curling Museum.
Since 2020, the program has provided about $1.6 million in support for these projects.
The Board of Directors of MCHoF&M has decided that the donation will be split equally between the general operations fund and the Heather Helston Memorial fund, which is designated specifically for expenses relating to the Manitoba Curling Museum.
The Manitoba Curling Museum is located upstairs at the Charleswood Curling Club (4000 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg). It will be open Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to 6pm through the curling season and will also be open longer hours during events at the club, including the Manitoba Open Bonspiel in January.
